Hey there! This is Bcdefg123, and every week, or as often as I can, I’ll be interviewing a star player about the games they play best. First up is Tenchio, who is currently holding first place in MKDS.
Bcdefg123: First, tell us a bit about yourself if you want.
Tenchio: Sure:
I was born in 1990 and started playing when I was very young thanks to my sister who had a Game Boy and a Sega Master System. Later in 1998 I got my first own console - Nintendo 64 - and it was here I started to play against other people - my friends - and started to try to get hi-scores in games like Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 64. But after getting a bit older I started playing more and more RPGs, so right now half my playtime is dedicated to that genre and the rest to hi-score-related games. Besides gaming I like to read books (fantasy, manga), listen to music and eat yummy food.
Bcdefg123: What's your favorite course in MKDS?
Tenchio: It varies a lot, but I suppose it's Moo Moo Farm since that's my best one. I also like Donut Plains 1.
Bcdefg123: Favorite character and kart?
Tenchio: Toad in Dry Bomber.
Bcdefg123: I know you play online, because you're a part of the Cyberscore team. What's your online record?
Tenchio: I think I have 640-80 at the moment. I had a record of 1100-70 before my game got erased.
Bcdefg123: Wow... any tips you have for us?
Tenchio: Personally I think Dry Bomber is better to use online, since it's much easier to handle and goes faster off-road. Aside from that you just have to improve the way you use miniturbos which you do best... with a lot of practice.
Bcdefg123: Any last words of wisdom?
Tenchio: Never pick Rainbow Road in online mode. It's totally random and every good player hates it, including me. Wink
Bcdefg123: What, I'm not a good player?
So, there you have it! Keep playing the games you’re good at, and if you’re lucky, you might be here next! See you!
